The CleanSensitive range is suitable for anyone with sensitive skin and so this is great if your skin feels delicate after removing make-up.

Garnier says: “Specifically designed for the removal of make-up from the face, eyes and lips. This 2 in 1 product contains both Oil and Water to remove even the toughest Waterproof make-up without rubbing. The oil content provides a natural remedy for the removal of make-up and the water component refreshes the skin without leaving you with that greasy feeling.”

WHAT IS IT? The remover is a 2-in-1 waterproof make-up remover that combines a removal oil with cleansing water. It’s got plant extract and softening vitamin B5, is alcohol and perfume free.

HOW DO YOU USE IT? To use this remover, it is very important that you shake the bottle! This is so the oil and water will mix. After shaking the bottle well, pour a bit onto a piece of cotton wool or tissue and then just wipe it gently over your face to remove the make-up.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? It’s packaged in a clear 200ml plastic bottle and the liquid is dispensed through a small hole under the weird looking flip top lid.
Before the contents of the bottle has been shaken, the two liquids are very visible. The blue oil sits on top of the cleansing water. I noticed that when you shake the bottle to mix the two liquids, the blue oil quickly rises to the top again. Thus it is important to make sure that once you’ve shaken the bottle, it is quickly poured onto your cotton wool or tissue.

PRICE: $8.99AUD. I think this is a reasonable price because I JUST checked it on eBay and with its price & shipping, it works out to be the same, lol. A very affordable price that is easy to find anywhere :)

TEXTURE AND/OR SMELL: When I used the remover and applied it to my face, it looked ‘normal’. However, as I ran my fingers over my face, I could feel a tiny bit of oil left. It’s not a greasy shiny oil but more like an oil-based sheen. The oil wasn’t obvious on my face unless I swiped my fingers over it.
Even though Garnier claims this to be perfumed free, there was a teensy bit of a smell when I was using it.

MY OPINION: Okay, I just used this to remove my FOTD which consisted of:
UDPP, MAC pigments & a NARS blush & highlighter and on my first try, it removed EVERYTHING! Holy batman, I was so surprised! Just ONE swipe and the pigments were transferred from my eye lids to the cotton wool. Just ONE swipe and cheeks were clean! I didn’t even have to let the cotton wool sit on my eyes for however many seconds. Just swipe!
This may be just my preference but I had to then rinse my face with water after using the remover because of the oil left behind. I’m not sure if this is normal in regards to make-up removers since I’ve never used one before but that’s probably my ONE & ONLY con with this product.

So there you go - a cheap, affordable AND effective waterproof make-up remover!

Oh, for the Aussie girls, Target (not sure if it’s just them) has this deal where you get free make-up removal squares :)

So my sister and I headed to Stocklands to buy a roasted chicken from Woolworths but they didn’t have any! Grr. They had it yesterday but not today?! Anyways, to make the drive worth the petrol, we headed into Cosmo Cosmetics and saw that they were having a sale :) We picked up this Maybelline Colorama for $1! Yes, one freaking dollar, LOL! Cosmo Cosmetics also stock some Make-Up For Ever stuff as well as Stila and Revlon. They had Jordan nail polishes for $3 and some Revlon ones were also $3 (some were $7 though) Haha, they were so dodgy cos at the front of the store, they had a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE bin full of the Maybelline Coloroma and Sally Hansen polishes for $2 -.- One is already $1 so you’re not really saving!

The colour is the perfect vampy for Winter. Anyone else despise Winter weather? Thank goodness we’ve only got one more month of Winter. I can’t stand it :(

I’ll also be on a two weeks break thanks to my trials :(

Wish me luck!

My comfort zone = neutrals or taupey colours! I have a bunch of “coloured” pigments and eyeshadows but they’re just sitting there looking pretty :)

CC is welcome as always - anything to improve my skills (or lack of).

This was for a quick browse at the shopping center with the family on Sunday (270708).

On my eyes, I used:

UDPP
MAC Quietly pigment (Asia exclusive)
MAC Violet pigment
MAC Blacktrack fluidline

I tried to curl my lashes but um they’re stubborn, grr! I tried again on Tuesday and they actually curled :O

I present to you, ladies and gentlemen, exhibit 1:

Curled lashes makes a difference!

UDPP
MAC Cash Flow paint pot (Fafi)
MAC Mulch eyeshadow (thanks, R!)

Looking at this picture makes me realise how little lashes I have on the inner corner of my eye, LOL. Yah, I know my eyebrows are feral and unkept but I have an excuse - they’ve never been touched before, HAHA! I’m getting them done for my formal though so I need to make an appointment with the eyebrow queen of Sydney soon *taps nose*

School has been keeping me very busy. We’ve got our trials in a week and then HSC in a few months. I’ve had two assessments this week and it’s making me break out :( My skin is disgusting right now! And on top of that, we need to start thinking about uni preferences and whatnot. Eugh. How annoying, LOL. I can’t wait til school’s over and done with forever :D So close to the end!

I’ve got a few reviews coming up - just need to tweak them a bit, take pictures of the products etc. I’m not that good at describing things but I try to review products to the best of my abilities :)

It’s finally the last month of Winter! Thank goodness. This year wasn’t as cold as last years but I can’t take the cold :( I LOVE Spring & Summer!

So I was walking my brother home from school when I saw an umbrella of black smoke come from behind the houses in front of my house. My reaction was just OMG!

I hope no one was hurt :( The firetrucks and police cars just zoomed by! I counted 3 firetrucks and 3 police cars!

This is how it was when it started:

And then this was it after about 10 minutes:

Official update coming soon…I think.

I have no creative bone in me, LOL.

Uh, let’s see what I’ve been up to these past few days…

  • Studying - more like CRAMMING not only for the trials but for 2 assessment tasks coming up :(
  • Movies! I went to see Kung Fu Panda. LOL, any movie with Jack Black in it = FANTASTIC! My brother LOVED it! He kept quoting short random lines.
  • Ctaching up on a few missed episodes of TV shows I watch. Haha, I should just do a post where I list every TV show I watch EVERY week!

FOTD for a group hot pot dinner at Sarah’s house :) It was JUST like the old days when everyone just hung out. Thanks Albert for driving me home :D Your car is uber awesome! Haha.

Yah, craptastic lighting!!

Hard to believe but this is my first ever NYX product! I’ve been meaning to try some of the NYX products but haven’t had the time to head to Liverpool and buy some.

This is the NYX Lipstick - Love Angel. Christiana, thanks for all your help in helping me trying to find pictures of this! In the end, we didn’t really get anywhere, LOL. But no worries! It’s a nice baby pink colour in the tube. However, when I swatched it, it was a deeper pink.

There’s a close-up of the swatch. It looks BEAUTIFUL but I’m scared it might look too bright on my lips!

Just a quick post as an entry to Spankedelic’s contest :)

Picture of me is under this post :)

I couldn’t find longer hair, LOL.

Haha, what a creative title!

Well, today was a very special day :) And a special day = me wearing pink eyeshadow for the first time, LOL! I was very excited to have a play with Pink Pearl and Naked :D

My bestie, Sally, & I headed out for a celebatory lunch cos she passed her driving test and now has her P’s! WOOOOHOOOO :D I was so happy for her!

Pink Pearl swatched = HEAVEN. It applied like butter on my lids and is the most perfect pink! It’s this pretty duochrome of pink and blue :) Something like Stars n Rockets, I think :)

Naked makes an awesome brow highlighter but the chunks of glitter were a bit much, lol.

FACE
Dermalogica Active Moist
NARS Luster
MAC Pearl Sunshine beauty powder

EYES
UDPP
MAC Perky paint pot
MAC Pink Pearl pigment
MAC Naked pigment
L’Oreal Telescopic mascara (I wore mascara for the first time in uh .. a few months and it didn’t irritate my eyes - YAY!)
Lancome Le Stylo waterproof eyeliner - Noir

LIPS
Viva Glam V (but that wiped off in about 15 minutes when we ate, LOL)

A pretty crapola picture of the eye - sorry. The camera didn’t feel like co-operating today :(

I put a depot of Gingersoft from the 2006 Delights Trend palette into the quad Jen sent me and they looked like cousins so I decided to swatch them too :D

Naked is a more creamier colour whereas Gingersoft is an off-white colour. Gingersoft has a more fine shimmer compared with Naked.

Guess what I received in the mail this morning? My lovely prize package from the gorgeous Jen from A Beautyful Sentiment! Hehe, I won a MAC quad with 2 pressed MAC pigments - Pink Pearl & Naked :)

Just wanted to say thank you, Jen :) I enjoy reading your blog and I think the giveaways you have are fantastic and very kind of you!

How awesome is the pink envelope?! I saw it and my eyes went from o.o to O.O!

Inside the envelope was the quad and pigments as well as samples :)

Close-up of Pink Pearl & Naked. They look so pretty I don’t want to use them, LOL. BUT I will in a few days so I shall report back :D

Ooh, I also received MAC Totally It! lipglass from Cyber Emporium. I ordered it last week when they were having a 50% off everything sale so I ended up paying $15 including registered post. I’m pretty happy :D I bought it for my sister who’s been on the hunt for one.

From the MAC website, Totally It! is described as “sheer bright pink with intense pink pearl.” It looks like a mixture of blue/purple and pink pearl, in my eyes.

Here’s my fotd for some shopping at Liverpool Westfields. Meh, I’m so used to wearing heels everywhere and now because of my ankle injury, I have to get used to flats :( I purchased a simple pair of flats for $30 at Novo since they were having a sale. I can’t bring myself to spend more than $50 on a pair of flats but I can easily spend $100 on a pair of heels. WHY?!

FACE:
Dermalogica Active Moist
NARS Orgasm
MAC Pearl Blossom beauty powder

EYES:
UDPP
MAC Shore Leave eyeshadow (is this super frosty on anyone else?? It looks almost SILVER!)
MAC Illegal Cargo eyeshadow (camera washed this out a bit but I love this colour )

Lipsmacker - Strawberry
MAC Lollipop Lovin’ lipstick

Hope your weekend was great :)
